The promised land
While walking on the Israeli north border near Ramat- Hagoln hights you can see the small settlements, villages and other alternative communities that exist in the Galilee area.
The view seems to be a lonely one, dark and abounded one , while the dominate color seems to be a dirty gray, kind of a gray that effects your sole and mind while you are trying to take your photo series in order to tell the story of the place .
Every frame was lonelier than the other, the place was like taken out from a horror movie, no live sole was living there that time .the only thing I saw were garbage and a destroyed settlement that was left beyond. I guess this is the price of a constant war between Israel and the Palestinians, while some of them claim their rights on the land and others are willing to kill for it, ironically no one is willing to share it in order to live on it and in peace.
After looking at my pictures I understood that the land can take it all, the blood, the loneliness, the destruction and maybe the fact that peace is no more than a silent wish unseen by the dark gray view .
